Weiss has excelled throughout her young career, routinely demonstrating her impressive skills on vault. Just this year, Weiss had the highest vault score at the Nadia Comaneci Invitational. was excited to add another elite athlete, saying that "we couldn't be more excited to have her energy on our team this fall. Smith comes to Washington after three strong years at Eastern Michigan. This last year, Smith was named to the MAC All-Tournament Team after finishing second in the conference on vault and qualified for NCAA Regionals. "It takes a special athlete to transfer late in their college career seeking more," said Ray-Statz about Smith's addition. "We are thrilled to have Allie joining our team all the way from Michigan and making our vault and floor lineups even stronger. She comes with experience, leadership, and a strong desire to have her best season yet. She fits wonderfully into our culture."
