West Chester University's women's gymnastics team
received academic recognition from the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association
by earning a 3.67 team grade-point average throughout the 2018-19 school year. The Golden Rams ranked ninth of all the NCAA gymnastics teams.
Sixteen West Chester gymnasts garnered individual honors for maintaining a 3.5 GPA or higher.

Overall, there were 31 teams and more than 56 percent of student-athletes maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or more.
Boise State (3.77), Western Michigan (3.75) and Northern Illinois (3.71) were the top three teams on the WCGA's GPA rankings.
